Dr. Amy Centers, founder/principal of neurolifeworks, began her career in the areas of human development and potential in 1999 when she enrolled in Coach U, one of only two coach training programs at the time, after learning of the newly formed field of coaching. Coach U was the sole program offering telecourses, making it her only option as she was then living and working in Florence, Italy.

Returning to the U.S. in 2001, Amy worked in all aspects of people and culture, including all levels of talent and leadership development, talent management, and internal and external coaching and consulting. Currently Vice President of Client Transformation Services for the global leader in internal talent and marketplace solutions, she is an I/O Psychologist and recognized expert in career development and workforce change.

Amy is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Leadership, and is certified in Prosci Change Management Methodology (ADKAR), Emotional Intelligence, Situational Leadership II, DiSC, Emergenetics, TotalSDI, and Strengths.

Her off-work passions include mid-level adventuring (Mt. Everest Base Camp – Yep!, Mt. Everest Summit – Not Likely), traveling pretty much anywhere (that doesn’t end in istan or eria), and running along San Diego’s beaches with her husband and Alaskan Malamute, Atlas.
